The Personnel Committee is a Council-only committee charged with ultimate personnel administration for all Borough employees.  Personnel Administration is a private matter and as such meetings and activities of the Personnel Committee are exempt under the Sunshine Laws.  Though the police force reports administratively to the Mayor, ultimate decision-making is a Council function and the Personnel Committee advises Council.
